Sharona Tsubota, In Great Spirits
Sharona Tsubota of In Great Spirits was elected Vice President. Sharona owns In Great Spirits, which provides innovative, customizable corporate client retention tastings and private seminars on wine, whisky, and sake, and often incorporate unusual food pairing. These events cover a wide range of topics, from Wine 101 to Pinot Noir from Around the World, throughout the Portland area and across the country. A wine and spirits educator for the past 12 years, she founded Angel's Share in Napa/San Francisco in 2001 to offer high-end public wine, food and spirits events. In addition, she served on the board of the American Institute of Wine & Food in San Francisco for 5 years, including terms as Chairman and Vice Chair. Sharona has led explorations into the worlds of wine, whisky, and sake in locales around the globe, including Tokyo, Sydney, London, and New York.

Barbara Barde, Barde Career Solutions
Barbara Barde founded Barde Career Solutions in 2008 after realizing her passion involved helping career professionals discover their true career paths and connecting them to careers they thoroughly enjoy. Before officially starting her business, Barbara worked with a number of friends, and friends of friends, in career assessing, coaching and mentoring, and rewriting resumes to help them successfully find new careers.
For over 15 years, she has been involved with the growth and development of career professionals as well as companies in the Portland area. Barbara brings an exceptional range of skills in building personal and business relationships, managing teams and organizations, and project management and implementation.
Prior to launching her own business, Barbara was engaged as a technical recruiter, responsible for identifying, locating, attracting and recruiting top talent for a leading IT and Engineering consulting firm. Previous positions have included the development and management of recruitment, marketing, IT call center management, Human Resource Management (including hiring/firing, training, coaching, mentoring), sales and support programs for membership-based organizations, as well as serving as the coordinator for regional youth activity programs, locally as well as working in multiple states and The Netherlands.
A past President of Hadassah, Barbara was responsible for coordinating and managing all levels of the non-profit women's organization. Prior to that position, Barbara was involved in both customer support and project management at Freightliner Software and Stream International. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Portland.

Connie is the owner of The Accounting Department which provides bookkeeping and QuickBooks customization to small business owners in the Portland Metro Area. Connie's strong belief of being in service to others and empowerment through education has catapulted many of her clients into success they could not have achieved alone. Many of the friends and clients Connie reaches out to are women who own their own business, and she firmly believes that the success of these business are the backbone of our economy. Connie is an active volunteer in her community, as well as in business networks, always knowing that giving the gift of self is the key to fulfillment. Connie has been a member of WEO since 2008. After attending a workshop presented by WEO she gained the extra knowledge she needed to putting the finishing steps onto her plan of opening commercial space and expanding her team. The economic climate of this last year has been felt by all business owners, however, through her involvement with WEO and the educational opportunities provided, Connie quickly achieved her goals with her own business. Now she is ready to give back and help others do the same.
